Your new role: We are currently seeking individuals with a keen interest in working in the specialised field of telecommunications interception (TI) within our Digital Forensics & Collections Unit on a full-time basis. This role reports to the Manager, Electronic Collections. TI monitors work in a challenging and dynamic technical environment carrying out an important role in collecting evidence and providing operational support as part of IBAC investigations. This includes intercepting and monitoring communications such as telephone calls, monitoring surveillance device product and tracking target locations under warrant and working closely with investigators, analysts, and other operational staff. We are looking for applicants who: * Have strong communication skills and attention to detail * Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously * High technical skills and capabilities * Ability to understand and interpret internet protocols in data sets * Ability to manage multiple competing priorities * Transcription experience and knowledge of the investigation or intelligence process (highly advantageous) * Good computer and keyboard skills with an ability to quickly learn new software applications * Have availability to undertake shift work on weekdays, weekends and public holidays (365 days a year) Additional duties are set out in the position description.
