As a Disposal Data and Inventory Manager within Disposal Services, you will deliver complex logistics data reporting, planning, and inventory management outcomes. You will provide reliable advice and utilise stakeholder management skills daily, and will contribute to the public sales, project and reporting data for Disposal Services. Other key tasks include: Produce demand planning and inventory data reports; Provide complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) guidance to Project Managers, SPO's and other Defence personnel; Data validation and compliance for Disposal Services; Engage and communicate with Stakeholders and provide advice on legislation, policy and disposal processes and frameworks; and Transact in ERP including the creation of sales orders and gifting processes. About our Team Disposal Services facilitates the disposal of former Australian Defence Force platforms and equipment with the exception of specialist and/or specified items. Disposal Services provides a partnered approach to disposals and work closely with Capability Managers and System Program Offices to ensure the most efficient, effective and assured pathway for the disposals. Disposal of former Australian Defence Force platforms and equipment are through various methods. Common disposal methods include: Foreign Government to Government sale or gift; Commercial sale through tender processes or public auctions; Heritage allocation; and Recycling and destruction. The Branch ensures all activities are compliant with current legislation and policy and are conducted in a manner that stands up to public and audit scrutiny, while providing the optimal net outcome for Defence and the Commonwealth.
