About the Company: Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health. The Role: We are currently looking for Disability Support Worker to work with our female client in Currumbin Waters, Qld. Our participant has suffered a traumatic brain injury and require low to moderate intensity care. Our participant also has two young children - a boy and a girl, under the age of 24 months. Applicants with prior experience of working with brain injury clients will be highly regarded. This is a casual ongoing position with no end date in sight; we can offer part-time or full-time hours. Key Responsibilities: Assistance with personal care Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning, washing & meal preparation Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises Community access rehab appointments Look after the kids when she is busy with her appointments. Shift Hours: Onngoing Day shift: 9.00am/10.00am to 4.00pm/ 5.00pm, Tuessday and Wednesday Pay rate: Pay rate: $36.25 per hour Travel allowance: $0.99 per km (applied only when travelling the participant to and from medical appointments).
