About your opportunity: * Utilise high level communication skills to provide professional advice to medical and nursing staff, allied health professionals, non-professionals, community organisations and to patients and their carers regarding nutrition and diabetes education. * Demonstrate a high level of understanding of the environment in which clinical decisions are made to influence health outcomes and ensure that service initiatives are integrated into clinical practice, work unit guidelines and service procedures. * Provide high level dietetic and diabetes assessment, consultation, therapeutic intervention and discharge planning for diabetes patients. * Provide clinical practice supervision to dietetic and diabetes educator students to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards.
