Job Title: Data Modeller / Analyst Location: Sydney Employment Type: Contract Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Modeller / Analyst to design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for SVoC data domains . The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data modelling, data profiling, and lineage analysis, ensuring the data architecture aligns with enterprise standards and supports analytics, migration, and regulatory reporting initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for SVoC data domains in alignment with enterprise data architecture principles. Perform data profiling and data lineage analysis to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across systems. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models. Support data migration initiatives and ensure model compatibility across platforms and environments. Document and maintain data definitions, relationships, and metadata for enterprise data assets. Use industry-standard modelling tools such as ERwin , Sparx Enterprise Architect , or equivalent to develop and maintain data models. Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory data management requirements. Support analytics and reporting teams with optimised data structures to improve data accessibility and performance. Required Skills & Experience: 5–8 years of experience in data modelling and data analysis . Strong knowledge of data architecture principles , data warehousing , and relational database design . Proficiency in data modelling tools (e.g., ERwin, Sparx EA, PowerDesigner). Hands-on experience in data profiling, data lineage, and metadata management . Familiarity with SQL , ETL concepts , and data integration frameworks . Understanding of enterprise data governance and regulatory reporting frameworks . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in financial services , regulatory , or data migration programs. Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
