The Opportunity: Reporting to the Manager – Emerging Technologies, this entry-level role is a great opportunity to build your career in enterprise integration and data solutions. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams to support the design and delivery of innovative solutions. You’ll gain hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies, including MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, CloudHub, Solace PubSub, Globalscape EFT, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines as well as modern data tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Purview and emerging AI technologies. You’ll be encouraged to contribute to ideas, participate in technical discussions and help ensure best practices, documentation and governance standards are upheld. You’ll also have opportunities to upskill in modern data technologies and gain insight into the evolving landscape of enterprise integration and analytics. Key responsibilities: Assist in maintaining and optimising integration platforms such as MuleSoft CloudHub, Solace PubSub, and Globalscape EFT, gaining practical experience in enterprise integration and file transfer solutions. Develop foundational skills in Microsoft Fabric (data engineering) and Microsoft Purview (data governance) to support future initiatives in data integration, analytics, and enterprise data solutions. Learn to establish and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, supporting consistent deployment practices and code quality through automated testing and release management. Contribute to integration governance standards and best practices, helping to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability across multiple projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to create clear technical documentation and reusable data and integration assets, streamlining project development cycles. Participate in technical discussions, sharing perspectives and learning negotiation skills with technical stakeholders as you grow into a future career in data and integrations. Support the delivery of scalable, secure integration solutions connecting diverse systems from core business applications to third-party platforms, while learning to meet uptime and performance targets. About you: This is a great opportunity if you’re a recent graduate with a great passion for technology. Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with strong academic performance. Having completed coursework or practical training, in your relevant degree, in data engineering, integration, or data governance (e.g. database management, ETL processes, integration patterns, data quality principles). Have educational, internship or project experience involving data pipelines, API development, or integration of SaaS and on-premises applications, with hands-on skills in tools like or similar to SQL, Python, or introductory exposure to platforms such as MuleSoft or Microsoft Fabric (Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI). Understand core concepts in data modelling, relational databases, and cloud technologies. Demonstrate interest and aptitude for a career in data engineering, data governance, or enterprise integration, shown through university projects, hackathons, or relevant extracurricular activities. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a willingness to pursue further certifications or training (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, MuleSoft Certified Developer). Possess strong communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, with a learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies and processes. Show attention to detail in documentation and a commitment to security and governance standards. Bring curiosity, innovation, and enthusiasm for continuous improvement, actively seeking opportunities to grow skills in Microsoft Fabric, MuleSoft, and modern data technologies.
