Data Engineer with BI Expertise Sydney 3-4 Contract - Start ASAP We’re looking for a Data Engineer who’s passionate about building robust data pipelines and unlocking insights that drive smarter business decisions. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines across multiple sources. Develop and optimise data models to support reporting, dashboards, and analytics. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable BI solutions. Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity across systems. Partner with analysts, engineers, and business teams to deliver data-driven insights. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Data Engineer (5 years preferred). Strong SQL skills and experience with relational & cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse). Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Hands-on experience with modern data stack technologies (Airflow, dbt, Kafka, etc. a plus). Solid understanding of data warehousing, modelling, and transformation best practices.
