Customer Success Facilitator (Humanoid Robotics) - Contract Role

Andromeda Robotics
20 Nov 2025South Melbourne VictoriaHealthcare & Nursing
About Us Andromeda Robotics is an ambitious social robotics company with offices in Melbourne and San Francisco, dedicated to creating robots that seamlessly and intelligently interact with the human world. Our first robot, Abi, is a testament to this vision—a custom-built platform designed from the ground up to be a helpful aid and intuitive partner in aged care homes. We are a passionate, collaborative team of engineers who solve some of the most challenging problems in AI and robotics. To accelerate our development and ensure Abi's reliability, we are seeking a foundational member to build out our capabilities to train and test our robot in simulation. Our Values Deeply empathetic - Kindness and compassion are at the heart of everything we do. Purposely playful - Play sharpens focus. It keeps us curious, fast and obsessed with the craft. Relentlessly striving - With relentless ambition, an action bias and constant curiosity, we don’t settle. Strong when it counts - Tenacious under pressure, we expect problems and stay in motion to adapt and progress. United in action - Different minds. Shared mission. No passengers. The Role We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team, on a contracting basis, as Customer Success Facilitators, or as we like to call it, our very own Robot Wranglers. In this role, you’ll represent Andromeda Robotics and our mission to reduce loneliness and spark joy through technology. You’ll work alongside Abi, our empathetic AI companion, to engage with residents and patients in nursing homes and children’s hospitals through conversation, games, and music. You’ll lead group sessions and one-on-one interactions with Abi, helping to foster genuine connections, bring energy, and make every session enjoyable for all participants. How You’ll Make an Impact Facilitate Group Sessions: Lead engaging and interactive group activities with Abi, including games and exercises designed to stimulate cognitive and social responses Conduct One-on-One Interactions: Facilitate meaningful and personalised conversations with residents and patients, enhancing their experience with Abi Work with Technology: You don’t need to be highly technical — just confident and curious. You’ll be comfortable operating Abi, troubleshooting basic issues, and working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment where adaptability is key Monitor and Adapt: Assess the needs and responses of participants, adapting activities and interactions to suit individual preferences and abilities Manage Session Logistics: Ensure sessions start and end on time, maintain and set up equipment, communicate effectively with care home professionals, and provide structured feedback for continuous improvement Represent the Brand: You’ll be an ambassador for Andromeda Robotics, embodying our professionalism, warmth, and innovation in every interaction with residents, staff, and partners What We Are Looking For At Andromeda Robotics, we’re seeking compassionate and driven individuals who thrive on making meaningful connections and creating positive change. Excellent People Skills: Ability to connect with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, creating a welcoming and positive environment Public Speaking: Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking in front of groups Genuine Interest in Technology: While you don’t need specialist technical skills, you should be comfortable learning and working with innovative products in a dynamic, hands-on environment Energetic: Outgoing personality with a passion for engaging with others and bringing energy to sessions Caring Attitude and Community Focus: A desire to give back to the community and enhance quality of life for residents and patients Valid Driver’s License: Ability to drive to different locations as needed Preferred Qualifications: Psychology, anthropology, social work or caregiving, drama or theatre, or public speaking. If you’ve worked in a similar role before — awesome! But if not, don’t worry. What matters most to us is your enthusiasm, compassion, and belief in our mission. Seeking contractors starting in December and concluding in March, with a 2-week unpaid shutdown scheduled over the Christmas/New Year period. There is potential for contracts to be extended or converted to permanent.
