The opportunity Royal Freemasons is seeking experienced and motivated Cooks to join our Coppin Centre team on a casual basis. In this role, you’ll contribute to the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. You’ll work as part of a dedicated hospitality team to ensure a safe, efficient, and enjoyable dining experience — supporting the health and wellbeing of those in our care. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present meals in accordance with menu plans, dietary guidelines, and individual resident requirements. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with the Food Safety Program. Oversee and support Food Services Assistants during meal preparation and service. Ensure kitchen equipment and storage areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition. Contribute to a positive dining experience by promoting warmth, respect, and quality About You Relevant trade qualification or extensive experience as a Cook (aged care or healthcare experience highly regarded). Sound understanding of food safety and HACCP principles. Strong organisational and time management skills. Key Requirements It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role. All Aged Care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
