About The Client MLC Structures Pty Ltd is a registered construction company based in Sydney, NSW, specializing in residential and commercial building projects. The company is committed to delivering high quality outcomes while ensuring compliance with Australian building codes, workplace safety standards, and client expectations. They now seek an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their team based in Sydney, NSW. The Role This is a full-time position with an annual salary set at $95,000 plus superannuation per annum. The Responsibilities Plan, manage, and deliver residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring works are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflow and meet project milestones. Develop and monitor project schedules, procurement plans, and resource allocation in line with contractual and client requirements. Review engineering drawings, contracts, BOQs, and technical submissions, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with design consultants and contractors. Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities to obtain approvals, inspections, and compliance certifications. Implement and enforce workplace health and safety standards in accordance with NSW building regulations and company policies. Maintain quality control processes to ensure projects meet specifications, standards, and client expectations. Control and manage progress reports, cost tracking, and risk assessments to senior management and clients. The Requirements Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline At least 5 years of proven experience in construction project management across residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments in Australia. At least 5 years' experience managing multidisciplinary site teams, consultants, and subcontractors on medium to large-scale projects. At least 5 years' experience in contract administration, cost estimation within the construction industry. At least 5 years' experience leading projects through all phases from design coordination and procurement to construction delivery and final handover. At least 5 years' experience preparing and managing detailed construction schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent software. At least 5 years' experience working with construction-specific software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, WHS legislation, and local building codes, with demonstrated ability to apply them in complex project environments. Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule performance. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients, consultants, and authorities. Strong commercial and financial acumen with demonstrated experience delivering projects on time and within budget. Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to professional development, sustainability, and continuous improvement in construction practices. Current White Card, valid Driver's Licence, and full working rights in Australia.
