The Compliance Audit Lead role exists to assist Compliance and Risk Manager with the execution of all Audits undertaken for the Compliance and Risk team across a prioritised set of OSO sites. The role will be responsible for: Planning and scheduling of all Compliance related audit work within the timeframe allocated for the prioritised sites across Australia. Managing logistics associated with travel to/from sites. Manage Contractors to undertake specific site compliance audit work. Ensuring compliance auditing, verification and testing is completed and remediation work is undertaken when identified within guidelines. Complete any post trip documentation and required. The key duties of the position include Draft, review, update and maintain documentation: Work closely with the Project Lead DMS to: Finalise and confirm the schedule of works Identify current information relating to audit program, provide access to Contractors to update, and ensure any updates are documented and captured in EAMS Maintain and adjust work schedules to address other day-to-day changes e.g. adverse weather conditions or sudden unavailability of resources, and taking the necessary actions, including re-assignment and replanning of work, to ensure overall project timelines will be met and resources continue to be effectively utilised. Workforce planning & engagement: Work closely with the Project Lead DMS to: Assign and coordinate resources on site to perform Audits and collate all relevant information to assist in completing the assigned audits. Work with appropriate Bureau Hub resources to coordinate outages of equipment during above-mentioned Audits. Work with the appropriate Hub to optain security access to sites visited. Stakeholder consultation and communication: Work closely with the Project Lead DMS and other OSO stakeholders to: ensure staff are kept informed of business impacts and equipment outages. Coordinate collection of site data & work specifications: Ensure individual site works specification documents are complete and available before commencement of site work. Ensure all relevant site information is retrieved, assessed and approved via the DMS workflow. Organise site access & other site requirements: Coordinate with landowners or other authorities where necessary, to gain site access and approvals before undertaking work and ensuring all other site requirements have been addressed e.g. environmental management requirements, building applications, permits etc. Reporting: Ensure all work-orders are captured in EAMS. Liaison and Representation: Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders at the appropriate level and represent the Bureau in a professional manner in accordance with Australian Public Service values and Code of Conduct. Travel: Regular travel away from your home base by air, sea and road is an essential part of this role. Field work may require working outside of normal business hours including weekends, for which over-time and other allowances may be payable. Complying with all Bureau work, health and safety policies and procedures, and taking reasonable care for your own health and safety and that of employees, contractors and visitors who may be affected by your conduct.
