WE ARE HIRING! Community/Disability Support Worker Location: Cranebrook Days of the Week: Mondays and Thursdays. Start Times: 9am preferred, but there is flexibility. Shift Duration: 2-3 hours (flexibility if longer hours are required). Requirements: Previous experience as Disability Support Worker. Experience with Autism, chronic fatigue, and other disabilities. Must be able to assist with personal care, meal prep and community access. Skilled in cooking gluten-free (GF) meals. Experience with manual handling/hoisting. Must be driving. Current full Australian driver’s licence and own car. Comprehensive Car Insurance. NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW). Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate. Working with Children Check (WWCC). About The Role: Your role is to provide exceptional service while supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes but is not limited to: Intensive, flexible, and responsive client-focused support with the aim of assisting clients to successfully improve their physical and mental health. Has an initiative to plan clients' activities and other social outings. Develop connections with the community and achieve their goals. Assist in their needs of daily living, domestic assistance, social support, transport, community outings, and so on. Willing to do both Support Work and Assistant in Nursing. Willing to be on-call and travel to different areas. This is a casual employment position offering an attractive hourly rate depending on experience and availability.
