WE ARE HIRING! Community/Disability Support Worker Availability: Must be available Monday and Tuesday from 9-3pm & Wednesday 10am-1:30pm. Must be open to accepting 2-hour services. Possibility of having other services. Requirements: Driving is required. Full Australian driver’s licence. Own a car. Comprehensive Car Insurance. NDIS Workers Screening Check. Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate. Working with Children Check (WWCC). Experienced in Manual Handling, challenging behaviours, and other high-care skills. Experience with Down Syndrome. About The Role: Your role is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes but is not limited to: Intensive, flexible, and responsive client-focused support to assist clients in successfully improving their physical and mental health. Has an initiative to plan client's activities and other social outings. Develop connections with the community, and achieve their goals. Assist in their needs of daily living, domestic assistance, social support, transport, community outings, and so on. Willing to do both Support Work and Assistant in Nursing. Willing to be on-call and travel to different areas. This is a casual employment position offering an attractive hourly rate depending on experience and availability.
