The Community Access Manager leads and supports the delivery of Community Access programs, ensuring services are person-centred, high-quality, and meet NDIS standards. They guide the team, foster strong relationships with participants and stakeholders, and help people achieve independence and meaningful community participation. Requirements What you'll do: Lead planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of community access services and programs aligned with NDIS goals. Develop, manage, and monitor service delivery models that are person-centred, culturally appropriate, and responsive to participant and community needs. Oversee delivery of NDIS-funded Community Access supports, ensuring all shifts are covered and services meet practice standards, health, and safety requirements. Manage rostering, scheduling, and allocation of support workers, maintaining high service quality and participant satisfaction. Conduct regular site visits across Melbourne to monitor standards, compliance, and stakeholder engagement, document outcomes and provide feedback. Build and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, staff, community organisations, and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards, including risk management, incident reporting, feedback handling, and workforce capability. Maintain accurate participant documentation, service agreements, and Visual Care records; prepare reports on performance, service delivery, and participant outcomes. Manage, lead, and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive, inclusive, and learning-oriented culture; identify training needs and conduct performance reviews. Support collaboration with internal teams and external service providers to enhance service integration, innovation, and participant outcomes. Contribute to budgeting, resource allocation, funding applications, and monitoring of funding streams to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery. What you'll bring: Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or related field (required); Diploma or tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (preferred). Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, including Community Access supports and psychosocial packages. Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex service environments. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship building. Knowledge of Practice First principles, trauma-informed care, and person-centred approaches. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Awareness of market trends and growth opportunities in the disability and community sectors.
