Description We currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in driving commercial excellence and operational success for a major State Government contract. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Oversee commercial operations and manage financial deadlines to ensure contract performance and sustainability. Lead contract negotiations and interpret existing master service agreements, ensuring compliance and optimal outcomes. Work closely with the Contract Manager at our North Ryde headquarters, with regular travel to the Homebush site (at least once a week). Develop and implement commercial strategies, risk management plans, and governance processes to drive business growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Mentor and supervise a small team of contract administrators, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Provide commercial analytics and reporting to support decision-making and identify opportunities for value creation. What You’ll Bring Proven experience at a senior level in a large services business, ideally with government contracting exposure. Demonstrated ability to manage commercial functions, contract administration, and project governance in a performance-based environment. Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members. High level of ethics, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
