The Role We're seeking an experienced and results-driven Collections Officer to join our client's growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is immediately available, with exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to maintain strong cash flow through effective debt recovery and positive customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Contact customers to follow up on outstanding payments and negotiate suitable repayment plans. Monitor assigned accounts to identify overdue balances and potential risks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions. Prepare and issue payment reminders, statements, and demand letters as required. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes or billing issues efficiently. Provide regular reports on collection progress and delinquency status. Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and legal standards. Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Collections Officer, Credit Controller, or similar role. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
