Envirotechniques is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work with our well-established bushland management crews in the Geelong, Bellarine or Surf Coast Regions of Victoria. After a probationary period, the suitable applicant may be offered a permanent/full time role within the company. Envirotechniques provides high quality environmental services to a number of customers across Victoria and is seeking applicants who can meet the following selection criteria. Key Selection Criteria: Demonstrated interest and capability in natural resource management, conservation and sustainability. Ability to work cohesively in a team environment. A willingness to work in all weather conditions. Agricultural chemical users permit - ACUP or Experience using Herbicides. CPR & First Aid Training. Knowledge of native plants and/or pest plant species. A strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate. The following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Conservation and Land management, Natural resource management or relevant work experience. Herbicide application experience (Knapsack spraying & high-volume rig spraying). Experience using and maintaining small machines (Chainsaws, Brushcutters, mowers, pumps etc.). Experience operating tractors and ride-on mowers. Experience managing pest animals i.e. rabbit control. A current Victorian manual drivers licence. MR Truck licence. Chainsaw operations ticket. OHS/Construction Card. Landscaping/Construction experience. Applicants must have a high level of physical fitness for: Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
