Job Description Kickstart your laboratory career with our casual Coal Technician opportunities. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the accurate and timely preparation and analysis of coal and related samples, working to recognised international standards. Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Accurately conducting physical collection of coal samples from various mechanical sampling systems along with physical sample collections from within a CHPP environment adhering to strict deadlines Accurately Receipting, recording, analysing, reporting, sorting and storing coal samples Operation of analytical and manual preparation equipment. Plan shift workflow and coordinate pick-ups and analysis. General repairs and maintenance of analytical and preparation equipment Fault-finding and diagnostics of equipment where required Compliance with analytical methods, procedures and SGS Quality Systems
