This company specialises in the prototyping and production of high-precision components for the oil & gas, transport, mining and various other industries. They have a modern, clean workshop fitted with the latest machining technology. This is a permanent full-time role worked over 4 days per week , offering excellent work-life balance on day shift . The primary purpose of this position is to set, operate and program Sliding Head CNC lathes . You will be working on small batch runs (typically 50-100 components) and using Fanuc controls . To apply for this position, you must have the following: Trade background as a CNC Machinist or similar Strong experience with Sliding Head / Swiss-type CNC lathes (Star, Citizen, Tornos etc.) Ability to program, set and operate Fanuc-based machines Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings High attention to detail and quality Good communication skills Reliable and able to work in a team environment An excellent hourly rate is on offer plus a long-term, stable permanent position.
