Major Civil Infrastructure projects Based in Sydney $80,000 - $100,000 ConsultANZ is seeking a Civil Engineering (Site Engineer) for a Sydney based project The works typically involves managing aspects of projects as assigned to ensure full implementation of client requirements and to quality, safety and commercial standards and targets. Main duties include: Assist the design and estimation team during tendering through site inspections, reviewing drawings, and clarifying project scope and contract requirements. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including construction drawings, daily plans, and safety, environmental, and quality records. Prepare project budgeting, monitor costs against forecasts, and update projections throughout the project. Coordinate materials, equipment, and labour resources to meet project schedules and operational requirements. Monitor on-site progress, ensure works meet technical, safety, and quality standards, resolve issues, and liaise with clients on updates and variations. Manage project administration, including progress claims, end-of-project documentation, and maintaining supplier and subcontractor records. Maintain OH&S, Environmental & Quality Systems awareness Knowledge/Experience/Skills Required Tertiary (civil engineering discipline) qualification Awareness and understanding of relevant standards (IS09001, AS2159 and AS4801) and of the construction industry (piling) Understanding of Australian contract specifications. At least 3-5 years in a civil engineering (piling) and /or construction environment in a similar role Close attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work to deadlines in a pressured environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Outlook Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications Sound commercial orientation Benefits Competitive salary on offer ranging from $80,000 - $100,000 Full-time permanent position Based in Sydney APPLY NOW if interested or email careers@consultanz.com.au to hear more about this opportunity.
