Border Inn Hotel Position : Full Time Salary : $70,000 - $90,000 per year Location : Moama NSW 2731 Border Inn Hotel is family owned and operated pub nestled in the heart of Moama. The award winning restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, 7 days a week, and also have a motel, and a fully self-contained function and conference room. Border Inn Hotel is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Chef to join their team. Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities: • Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine • Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine • Creativity and high presentation standards • Ability to create dishes with consistency • Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes • Ability to contribute to menu planning • Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements • Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff • Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality • Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering To be considered for the position you must possess the following: • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role • Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery • Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment • Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry • Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner If you think you meet the above criteria, please apply now.
