We’re on the hunt for a passionate Chef to join our culinary team and help us deliver unforgettable dining experiences. Key Responsibilities: Culinary Excellence: Prepare, cook, and present dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and adherence to the venue’s high standards. Assist in menu creation, incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients that reflect the Camden Valley Inn’s unique character. Maintain a strong focus on quality and innovation to exceed guest expectations. Team Collaboration & Leadership: Support the Head Chef/Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations and leading a dynamic team. Mentor and train junior staff, promoting a positive and professional kitchen culture. Work closely with front-of-house staff to accommodate guest preferences and dietary requirements. Kitchen Management: Oversee food preparation during busy service periods, maintaining efficiency and quality. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimizing waste. Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment. Compliance & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations. Participate in regular safety checks and uphold workplace health and safety standards. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-volume or premium dining environment. Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience in professional kitchens. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices. Exceptional time management and multitasking skills in fast-paced settings. Creativity and passion for developing innovative dishes. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Permanent full time role with a starting salary between $76K - $80K (plus super).
