Description We are currently seeking Casual Catering Assistants to join the Spotless team based in Pinkenba, Brisbane. As a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, Spotless is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, culturally diverse meals that support the health and well-being of individuals within the centres . This role offers a variety of responsibilities, including: Assisting with the assembly, preparation, and production of meals as directed by the Chef Manager or Head Chef. Cleaning kitchen, food preparation, and dining areas, as well as cooking equipment and utensils. Adhering to the HACCP Food Safety Plan by maintaining food safety standards, ensuring hygiene practices are followed, and accurately completing all required documentation. Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures. What you’ll bring Must have Cert II – Kitchen Operations or higher Food Safety Certificates Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment Full understanding of HACCP Food Safety guidelines Strong written and verbal communication abilities Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
