This organisation plays a critical role in delivering safe, compliant, customer-centric services at national scale - and requires a strong regulatory Program/Project Manager to drive clarity and delivery across high-visibility initiatives. About the Role This role leads the end-to-end delivery of complex regulatory and compliance projects within a major telco environment. Working across legal, risk, compliance, product, technology, networks, and operations, you'll ensure regulatory obligations are understood, interpreted, planned, and executed effectively. You'll be responsible for translating regulatory requirements into structured delivery plans, ensuring stakeholders are aligned, risks are managed, and outcomes meet both regulatory deadlines and business expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead delivery of regulatory, compliance, and industry-mandated projects within the telco environment Interpret regulatory requirements and convert them into actionable delivery plans Build detailed project schedules, RAID logs, scope documentation, and governance packs Partner with legal, risk, compliance, product, networks, and technology to ensure alignment Manage dependencies and impacts across multiple business units and workstreams Drive high-quality reporting, status updates, and executive steering committee presentations Monitor regulatory deadlines, obligations, risks, and mitigation strategies Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including regulators where required) Ensure all deliverables meet compliance, audit, and assurance standards Navigate complex, fast-moving environments with tight regulatory timeframes Key Selection Criteria Proven Project Manager experience delivering regulatory or compliance projects (ideally within telco or utilities highly regulated sector) Strong experience working with legal, risk, compliance, and operational teams Ability to interpret regulatory or policy requirements and convert them into delivery outcomes Highly skilled in RAID management, planning, documentation, and governance Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders Experience working in matrixed, enterprise environments with complex dependencies Ability to bring structure, clarity, and pace to ambiguous or evolving requirements
