We deliver robust and flexible logistics and warehouse distribution solutions in the third-party logistics (3PL) market. About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across our Transport vertical . This role is pivotal in expanding our footprint in bulk freight and contract logistics, with a focus on transport-heavy industries. You’ll be part of a dynamic Business Development Team, responsible for identifying new opportunities, designing customer-centric transport solutions, and leading commercial engagements. Key Responsibilities Drive new business development in the transport sector, with a focus on bulk freight and contract logistics. Identify and target customers in transport-intensive industries such as FMCG, retail, automotive, and industrial. Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with business objectives. Build market intelligence through competitive benchmarking and customer insights. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, pricing, commercial) to design and present tailored transport solutions. Leverage transport assets and capabilities to meet customer needs across linehaul, warehousing, and end-to-end supply chain services. Lead and support contract negotiations for transport services. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in customer organisations. Support and optimise the Toll Sales to Delivery process for transparency and investment planning. About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Qualification A relevant university degree or equivalent (essential). Skills and Experience Extensive experience in business development within the transport or logistics sector. Proven ability to generate and convert leads in bulk freight or contract logistics. Strong understanding of transport operations including 3PL, linehaul, and warehousing. Experience designing customer solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Previous experience in a commercial or finance role (essential). Established network of industry contacts and customers nationally. What moves you?
