Position: Bushfire Consultant Location: WA, Perth Salary: $90,000 - $117,000 incl. Super About the Role: As a Bushfire Consultant with our client, you’ll need to be prepared to work alongside environmental consultants and landscape architects, Department of Fire and Emergency Services, the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, the Building Commission, and Local Governments to develop trusted working relationships that support the resolution of bushfire management issues. You will have the opportunity to work with leading industry experts in bushfire management and planning, within a strong and collaborative team. Key Responsibilities: Understand key issues, such as design and/or development considerations. Deliver top-tier consultancy services to our esteemed clients Build and sustain strong client relationships whilst providing excellent customer service Oversee and lead projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction Assist in creating, reviewing and approving projects ensuring that adherence to compliance culture and regulatory requirements is at the forefront. Guide and support project team members, promote a collaborative, positive and encouraging work atmosphere. Willingness to manage people as well as projects and provide levels of mentorship What you’ll bring: A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Bushfire Science, Fire Engineering, Environmental Health and Building Surveying or related disciplines Experience in bushfire protection, landscape scale bushfire management plans, bushfire planning or management Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a cohesive and high-performing team environment A valid driver’s license with ability to obtain police and medical clearance. Prior experience in the environmental consultancy field is highly preferred Why join?
