About the role The Branch Manager Internal Reviews is an SES Band 1 position, reporting to the General Manager, Reviews and Information Release. The Branch Manager has 6 direct reports, and responsibility for a Branch of approximately 300 staff located in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and TAS. As the Branch Manager, Internal Reviews, you lead high-performing teams responsible for the delivery of quality Internal Review outcomes in accordance with the relevant timeliness including the Participant Service Charter and Participant Service Guarantee. This role is accountable for: Leading the Internal Reviews Branch in the sound and timely management of the Agency's review of reviewable decisions under the NDIS Act Providing insights from the Internal review function that improve the quality of the Agency's decision making, processes and documentation Providing effective assurance to the Board, CEO, Senior Leadership Team, Senior Executives and business areas within the Agency Leading, enabling and motivating a team to fulfil their roles to a high standard - ensuring that teams members are equipped with the necessary resources and support. Current priorities The Internal Reviews Branch operates in a dynamic environment where every participant and situation is unique. With a significant increase in reviews over the past year, the Branch requires leadership to manage resource constraints, enhance operational efficiency, and develop the team's capability to translate complex legislative decisions into accessible language for diverse participants. The key duties of the position include About you This role is ideal for a senior executive with strong service delivery experience who has successfully led large, complex customer service teams. Significant experience leading and motivating large, complex service delivery teams in a public service or other comparable environment is desirable. Experience with complex administrative decision making is also desirable.
