The Opportunity Join Wales Bus at our dynamic smash repair facility in Smithfield! We’re looking for an experienced Body Builder to bring their expertise to the team. In this hands-on role, you'll use your skills to shape and restore heavy vehicle exteriors—playing a key part in delivering high-quality results and driving the future of automotive excellence. Role responsibilities Assess the vehicle’s damage to determine how to perform the restoration work Ensure the chassis crush is properly maintained & used appropriately Treat company equipment with the same respect for your own tools Advise the Parts Interpreter of any additional parts required not originally quoted on the estimate Co-ordinate with other workers in the workshop to ensure the workflow is appropriately placed Notify of any product shortages which would restrict production Check the schedule daily to ensure time-frames are met Does this sound like you? Trade qualified (Essential) Body repair experience (Essential) Ability to be a team player, with the skills to also work autonomously Communication and decision making skills Mechanical knowledge to assist in the usage and maintenance of tools An overall aptitude for technical activities We know that sometimes people need non-standard work hours, and would be happy to discuss the options available in this role, or similar roles across our business.
