The team is made up of accredited family law specialists and experienced family lawyers who focus exclusively on family and relationship law including separation and divorce, parenting arrangements, property and financial settlements, child support, spousal maintenance, financial agreements and family violence matters. About the position: Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an Associate level Family Lawyer with approximately 3-5 years post admission experience to join their close knit team. You will manage your own portfolio of family law matters with support from senior lawyers, working across Parenting and children’s matters including complex and high conflict disputes Property and financial settlements including businesses, trusts, self managed super funds and international assets Divorce and separation, de facto relationship breakdowns and spousal maintenance Binding financial agreements including pre nuptial and post separation agreements Matters involving family violence, relocation and risk based parenting issues You will have regular client contact with professionals, business owners and high net worth individuals and you will be encouraged to think strategically, draft high level advice and appear at mediations and in court where appropriate to your experience. This role is ideal for a technically strong family lawyer who enjoys complex work, wants direct mentorship from accredited specialists and is looking for genuine progression to Senior Associate. Key Requirements: Admission as a Solicitor in Victoria and current practising certificate Around 3-5 years post admission experience in family law Confidence running your own files with appropriate supervision Strong drafting skills including affidavits, initiating applications, consent orders and financial agreement drafts Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail Interested?
