The purpose of the Area Leader is to lead the operations and ensure the profitability of Freedom's retail network, maximise profits and sales. You will drive an engaged team through management of motivation and performance. What you'll be doing Manage and ensure the store operations in a region are achieving targets through EBIT, delivered sales, customer experience – NPS, expense management, building talent and driving/supporting change and collaboration. Ensure sales are generated and budgets are achieved and exceed through Strike rate, customer service, average transaction value increase, driving a sales culture and visual presentations following company directives. Leading people and encouraging succession planning through identifying and developing people into managers and creating a strong pipeline. Communicate clear targets, goals and expectations across all teams/stores. Manage performance through recognising, coaching and mentoring Store Managers to support their team. Determine appropriate KPI's to monitor store performance and create/implement retail strategies. Who you are Have strong business acumen, focuses on retail strategies and decision making. At least 5 years retail experience managing across multiple sites. Thrives on team building, driving performance across the team and continuously motivates and inspires Store Managers. Takes ownership and holds their team accountable with integrity. Fosters strong work relationships built on trust and respect across the business.
