EMPLOYMENT

The Executive Assistant provides high-level executive support to the CEO and Deputy CEO of the National Mental Health Commission (the Commission). Reporting to the Director of the Office of the CEO, the Executive Assistant coordinates comprehensive executive and administrative support to assist the CEO and Deputy CEO to meet their responsibilities, achieve organisational goals and ensure the efficient operation of the Commission. The key duties of the position include Managing and prioritising commitments for the CEO and Deputy CEO and providing support with diary management and meeting preparation. Providing administrative assistance to the CEO and Deputy CEO, including coordinating travel arrangements, managing expenses and supporting compliance with administrative policies and procedures. Acting as a key point of contact for the CEO and Deputy CEO and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, government stakeholders, corporate support services and mental health sector stakeholders. Preparing correspondence, briefing materials and other documents. Providing secretariat support for internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas and papers, coordinating meeting logistics and taking minutes. Working with the Office of the CEO team to maintain efficient and effective administrative systems, including records and information management processes. Supporting the Director of the Office of the CEO with team management, work planning and achievement of performance outcomes.
