The key duties of the position include We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). As a Lawyer in our TPB Legal Unit, you will be responsible for various activities, including assisting in the preparation of briefs to counsel, supporting litigation matters in the Administrative Review Tribunal, and providing legal advice to business areas within TPB. You'll also be required to process requests under the Freedom of Information Act 1982, ensuring compliance with legislative obligations and promoting transparency. You will contribute to policy development, general legal and administrative tasks, as well as the implementation of business improvement initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity for qualified lawyers to work with a team of high skilled legal professionals, managing litigation matters and advising on disciplinary investigations and registration matters for the TPB. These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Brisbane CBD, Melbourne CBD, Parramatta or Sydney CBD.
