Aged Care Physiotherapist- Short Term Contracts

About the role We are recruiting for experienced Aged Care physiotherapists across Melbourne. These are short term contracts and will see you providing physiotherapy services to older adults, with a focus on improving mobility, independence and overall wellbeing. As a key member of our aged care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our aged care clients. Current requirements are: Parkville - 4 days a week aged care - 15 Dec - 31 Jan - AL cover Camberwell - 3 days a week aged care , 01 Dec - 01 Mar - Mat Leave cover Clayton - 3 days a week aged care, 15 Jan onwards - ongoing What you'll be doing Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' physical, functional and rehabilitation needs Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans to address identified issues Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatment and care, including exercise programs, mobility training and assistive equipment prescription Collaborate with the broader care team (including nurses, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals) to ensure holistic, coordinated care Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary Maintain detailed clinical records and contribute to reporting requirements Provide education and support to clients, their families and care staff What we're looking for A recognised Physiotherapy degree or equivalent qualification Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist Significant experience (minimum 2 years) working as a Physiotherapist, ideally in an aged care setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills Proficient in designing and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to care What we offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career growth and professional development Supportive, friendly team environment About us This client is a leading provider of aged care services across Melbourne!
