AGED CARE CAREERS DAY Newcastle Anglican are holding a careers open day for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses & Care Assistants looking to join one of our facilities in Taree in either a Permanent, Part Time or Casual capacity. The open day will be held on Thursday 20th November in Taree at 10am - 1pm. The open day will give you the opportunity to meet with current staff and have a tour of Storm Village Retirement Home in Taree. Only people who hold the relevant qualifications and experience will be invited to the open day. Facility locations – Taree & Cundletown – Storm Village & Bishop Tyrell Place. Why Work for us? Role & Responsibilities: Actively promote Anglican Care’s positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications Abide by Aged Care Standards Work as an effective team member About you? Certificate III/IV in Individual Support for Care Assistants. Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to accurately document resident’s care/progress Who we are?
