The Honeywell Software Centre develops state of the art networked building automation and digital video surveillance solutions that run on Microsoft platforms. Recognised as a leader in the development of innovative and quality software we use the latest development methodologies and tools and maintain a strong ongoing commitment to Quality Systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless deployment, customer engagement and feedback integration across strategic demo and customer sites. You will be part of a team of engineers responsible for the development of Honeywell’s Building products. These products are exported worldwide through Honeywell’s global businesses . Responsibilities Lead and execute deployment activities with a hands on approach, directly managing the roll out of customer facing systems at strategic locations. Ensure systems are fully operational and optimised in advance of major events such as Honeywell User Group, with a focus on reliability, performance and stakeholder readiness Maintain high system availability and performance across demo and staging environments Co-ordinate with global teams to ensure systems are updated and supported Identify and align Beta sites for product engagement in collaboration with regional and engineering teams Facilitate Beta site agreements and manage engagement timelines and deliverables Collect and analyse customer site database to support upgrade testing and product qualification Track and resolve technical issues during Beta phases, ensuring alignment with program timelines Act as a liaison between engineering, test teams and customer sites to ensure smooth engagement Provide regular progress updates to leadership, including validation of value propositions and risk assessments Establish and maintain a Management Operating System (MOS) for Beta engagements Qualifications Experience in product lifecycle management or customer engagement roles Experience with large scale software product deployments and global team collaboration Strong recent experience in on-premise infrastructure environments (preferred over cloud-only experience) Strong cross-functional coordination and communication skills Experience in virtualized and containerized deployment flows (VMWare, Hypervisor, Kubernetes) Technical fluency in system level architecture and deployment workflows Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive closure on action items Accurately estimates work effort and develops management plans Facilitates, tracks and leads day to day operations and program/project scope, schedule and risks and see things through to completion Strong ability at prioritizing conflicting tasks and issues Capable of solving complex problems and making sound decisions Familiarity with EBI/DVM product is highly valued.
