The key duties of the position include The Role The Directorate of Estate and Land Management (DELM) within the Service Delivery Division is responsible for planning, delivering, and maintaining Estate Upkeep and Land Management services, ensuring compliance across the Defence estate. The Business Operations section provides critical administrative support to enable these functions. As an Administration Officer, you will deliver high-quality administrative services, including managing shared inboxes, coordinating tasks, maintaining business rules, and supporting the development of standard operating procedures. Working within a small, collaborative team, you will have autonomy to prioritise tasks and manage workflows to achieve outcomes. This role involves significant stakeholder engagement, liaising with internal and external parties on Estate Upkeep activities. You will contribute to continuous improvement and professional development while supporting a geographically dispersed team. Occasional travel may be required. About our Team The Business Operations team is one of five sections within the Directorate of Estate & Land Management. The Directorate delivers a range of essential services across the Defence estate, including Estate Upkeep, Land Management, Firefighting, and Aerodrome Operations Support. It operates as a geographically dispersed organisation across four states. This role reports to the Facilities Program Officer and forms part of a small, dedicated administrative team.
