About the role As a key member of our small Travel Services Office, you will coordinate travel arrangements, process claims, and provide high-quality customer service to patients, staff, and external providers. You will use sound judgement, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to culturally responsive care to support safe and efficient travel services. In this role, you will: * Coordinate approved patient and staff travel, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Queensland Health policies. * Review travel requests, register data correctly in travel software, and process claims efficiently. * Provide professional, timely advice to patients and staff regarding travel and accommodation. * Assist with reconciling accounts and preparing payments for travel providers (e.g., airline, rail, car hire). * Apply knowledge of the Patient Travel Subsidy Scheme and organisational duty-of-care responsibilities. * Support a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace, following WHS and ethical standards * Engage respectfully with Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, multicultural, and linguistically diverse communities. - * eliver culturally safe services aligned with Queensland Health cultural capability frameworks.
