Job Description The Lead Engineer will join our Technology Delivery team, driving continuous delivery and enhanced customer experiences. You will lead a delivery team (“Pod”), guiding the development and support of Group, Investment, and Retirement products on Acurity Applications while promoting best practices and innovation. The role requires quickly mastering relevant systems and agile methods, working proactively, and contributing both technically and strategically. You will collaborate across the technology team to deliver high-quality solutions and support the ongoing evolution of our technology capabilities. In This Role You Will Guide the platform’s technology roadmap and quality processes while ensuring the long-term sustainability and future readiness of the investments platform. Provide technical leadership to the Pod, ensuring delivery of technology products that meet business goals, align with the platform roadmap, and support continuous improvement. Identify and articulate business and technical risks and issues. Implement and configure changes and interfaces in Acurity systems, while training team members to perform these tasks. Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, and quality within the Pod, emphasising the reduction of technical debt. Deliver Level 3 support and troubleshoot production issues for the team’s software. Qualifications Strong leadership and communication skills.
