The Opportunity Sharp & Carter are proud to partner with a growing and well-respected construction business on the Sunshine Coast for the recruitment of an Accounts Officer on a permanent, part-time basis. This is a broad, hands-on role where you will support the day-to-day accounting operations while playing a key role in supporting month-end processes and transactional obligations. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Accounts Ofifcer who enjoys variety, autonomy and the chance to influence operations. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end accounts including AP, AR, and bank reconciliations Prepare and lodge BAS and statutory compliance reporting Manage payroll processing for site and office teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with awards and legislation. Monitor cashflow and support month-end processes Oversee subcontractor compliance, ensuring all insurances and documentation are up to date Liaise effectively with external accountants, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Skills & Experience Required Experience in a similar position (construction industry experience highly regarded, but not essential) High attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proficiency with accounting systems and a proactive, solution-focused approach How to Apply Sharp & Carter often have a range of positions available that may not yet be advertised.
