You'll receive hands-on training and work closely with the Financial Controller to manage end-to-end accounting functions, including full month-end processes, P&L, balance sheet, and reconciliations. BENEFITS Prime Sydney CBD location surrounded by cafes, retail, and gyms Modern offices in an iconic building with stunning city views Regular team events, Friday drinks, and social occasions Long-standing leadership team with excellent tenure Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare profit and loss statements and month-end general ledger entries Manage accruals and review daily reporting and cash reconciliations Perform reconciliations (bank, credit card, balance sheet, sales, expenses) Verify expenses and approvals; handle intercompany transactions Analyse management reports and assist with revenue, expense, and payroll forecasting Support AP, AR, and payroll functions as needed Liaise with stakeholders and respond to queries promptly REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years' accounting experience with month-end exposure Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organised with excellent time management Comfortable working in the CBD office five days a week in a collaborative environment Experience in hospitality or FMCG is highly desirable, or exposure to high-volume environments If you have the skills required, please apply now, or contact Dijana Hansen-Chambers at AccountAbility on 02 8296 5319 for further information
