Senior Systems Analyst Location: Sydney Duration: 6 months with extensions Start date: ASAP (urgent) Working rights: must be an Australian permanent resident or Australian Citizen About We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to lead the discovery, planning, and migration of Python and PowerShell-based automation workloads supporting data centre and systems infrastructure projects. This role requires a self-directed technical leader who can define solutions and deliver outcomes independently, with a strong focus on Windows Server administration, scripting and automation. Key Responsibilities Design, document and implement automation workflows and scheduled jobs using Python and PowerShell. Plan and coordinate migration of automation workloads to new environments, including server setup and cutover activities. Build, test and maintain deployment automation scripts and job templates. Manage and harden Windows Server environments hosting automation workloads. Implement environment management practices, including snapshots and rollback capabilities. Secure service accounts, credentials, tokens, and certificates using SafeGuard or Hashicorp Vault with rotation policies. Integrate logging, monitoring, and alerting for automated tasks and deployments. Collaborate with BAU and network teams to validate connectivity, IP addresses, and job execution. Provide technical leadership and define the best approach to achieve assigned outcomes. Required Experience Strong experience in Windows Server administration and hardening. Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation and infrastructure workflows. Experience managing credentials, tokens, and certificates for secure automation. Ability to design and implement technical solutions independently. SQL knowledge for data extraction and manipulation.
