We’re seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide person-centred, strengths-based support that helps individuals achieve their NDIS goals. In this leadership role, you’ll guide a multidisciplinary team, deliver both individual and group interventions, and collaborate closely with families, carers, and other professionals. Services are delivered across day programs, home settings, and clinics, with a focus on wellbeing, access, and social participation. In recognition of your ongoing professional development requirements, an annual amount of up to $3,000 (pro-rated for part-time employee) will be made available to you to assist with the cost of relevant training, courses and conferences. Hybrid working opportunity Fitness passport available Key Requirements Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for membership in professional association Demonstrated experience working with people with a disability with complex needs, incorporating specialised and complex intervention strategies Demonstrated high level communication and negotiation skills Experience in providing clinical leadership, supervision and support to other allied health staff and students, Experience of NDIS implementation, reviews and requirements Some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to): Assess participant needs and develop, implement, monitor and review NDIS plans for each participant to ensure the participant’s assessed needs are being met. Manage a caseload of people with a disability and their families or carers, who present with a variety of needs. This includes assessment, intervention planning, program development and equipment presciption. Support the philosophy of person-centred practice and engage in collaborative, holistic goal setting that reflects the individual’s needs and priorities. Ensure that organisational benchmark’s are met in accordance to customer expectations and participant caseload allocation. Act as a specialist resource to management on all matters pertaining to the provision of Occupational Therapy services within The Junction Works.
