Overview Principal Consultant role at Moir Group , a leading climate and sustainability advisory firm in Australia. Moir supports clients across corporate, property, infrastructure and financial sectors, helping them turn climate risk into resilient strategy and long-term value creation. Key Focus Areas Lead complex climate risk assessments and transition planning engagements for Australia's largest organisations. Shape climate advisory methodologies, ensuring market‑leading solutions. Drive business development and build long‑term strategic client relationships. Mentor and develop junior consultants whilst contributing to practice growth. Present to Boards and C‑suite executives on climate risk, scenario analysis and strategic resilience. What You’ll Bring 15 years in climate risk advisory or sustainability consulting (Big 4 preferred) with expertise in climate scenario analysis, adaptation planning and transition strategies across high‑emitting industries (manufacturing, utilities, construction, retail, transport, technology). Senior management experience with line management responsibilities and proven track record scaling and commercialising products or services. Deep technical knowledge of climate science, physical and transition risk assessment, and mandatory climate disclosure frameworks (AASB S2, TCFD, ISSB). Demonstrated ability leading complex client engagements and presenting to boards and C‑suite executives.
