Role Overview This is an opportunity for a highly skilled IT Manager to step into a critical leadership role for a well-established organisation currently sitting within a complex industrial and asset-heavy industry. Reporting into a CFO this role will play an essential part in the reshaping of a technology function. This will see you take full ownership of an IT platform which includes Infrastructure, Service Delivery and ERP enhancements through to Automation and Data proficiencies. You will work with a growing team to build internal capability. This role aligns with an individual who is comfortable aligning technology with business objectives and can drive innovation across systems. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day IT operational activities across infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, ERP, business applications and user support. Collaborate closely with C Level Executives and Leaders. Act as the primary point for platform improvements. Provide suggestions and play a key role in building strategy. Oversee vendor partnerships and relationships. Monitor MSP performance and lead upcoming RFP process for a new MSP. Own the organisations ERP and asset management systems. Ensure business requirements are met and upcoming integrations are applied effectively. Drive technology platform improvements using ITIL principles, streamlining processes, documentation, and standard practices. Ensure successful technology project delivery, enabling smooth handover to operations with training, support and readiness in place. Build and develop internal technology team capability to future proof the business for upcoming growth Candidate Profile Seeking a strong leader who can effectively balance strategic vision with strong execution. You will be comfortable setting clear direction, creating structure and driving progress, being comfortable building a function from the ground up. Extensive experience leading a technology function across Infrastructure and service delivery Strong knowledge of ERP systems - upgrades and integrations Manage MSP relationship and drive performance Well-versed in ITIL and other service management frameworks Confident in leading technology projects with an ability to successfully transition them to BAU operations Understanding of cybersecurity GRC frameworks - ISO27001, Essential 8 Build cross divisional trust in technology, including executive and board-level engagement Company, Culture & Benefits Our client is a leading Australian business in a asset intensive industrial sector who is now undertaking the next stage of a major growth strategy.
