Description The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Inventory Analyst to join Downer’s Infrastructure Supply Chain team. You’ll play a key role in reconciling, analysing, and transacting inventory positions, managing slow-moving and obsolete materials, and providing data-driven insights to support optimal material management outcomes. This role involves independent engagement with external partners to optimise inventory, maintain accurate stock-on-hand reporting, and ensure compliance with organisational standards. What You’ll Do Maintain accurate inventory data and reconcile stock positions. Conduct audits and validations to identify and resolve discrepancies. Develop dashboards, reports, and datasets to support decision-making. Collaborate with suppliers, clients, warehouse teams, T&I staff, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues. Manage slow-moving and obsolete material reporting, providing timely analysis and recommendations. Support compliance with Zero Harm, safety, and quality processes. Strong understanding of inventory control, stock reconciliation, and supply chain principles. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Methodical, accurate, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive, results-driven, and focused on optimisation and risk management.
