Summary TechOps follows a squad/Spotify model – we form in self managing teams to solve key business problems. Each squad is full DevOps – they build, enhance, and operate their asset. Team members need to be ‘specialist generalists’ ie each person brings their key domain knowledge but also eager to work on other technologies or roles to ensure the squad meets its outcomes. To promote knowledge transfer, informal learning and solve problems in new ways we also form Communities of Practices to push forward new tools and techniques. The Graduate role works in our Digital Solutions Agile squads. They will rapidly prototype, build and enhance new and existing solutions using AWS, Snowflake and Microsoft. We are currently moving our core operational systems to SAAS platforms, and the cloud (AWS) and we love finding ways to use microservices architecture. We are also the custodians of our financial system: SAP. You will learn SAP administration and help coordinate and deploy work with our managed service provider to ensure SAP meeting accounting teams requirements. The squads roadmap has strong data, AI and automation activities meaning we will actively support your growth in AWS, Snowflake, Python and AI. TechOps has a welcoming and supportive learning culture so you will be provided with the tools, development, courseware and training resources, mentoring and leadership support to build on your existing technical skills, get certified, and grow your capabilities. You will actively participate in our Developer Community of Practice to learn more and best practices that you can implement. The main responsibilities include: Design, develop and support of SAP, AWS and Snowflake solutions and integrations SAP administration and level 1 technical support Elaborate user stories with the Product Owner and Business Analyst. Develop and unit test these stories and deploy them to production Resolve operational bugs assigned from production support Be a vocal participant in our Developer Community of Practices Contribute to a culture which emphasises continuous improvement, owning and solving problems, and innovation Who you are A University Graduate with a passion for solving problems, curiosity to experiment, willingness to learn new technologies quickly who is seeking opportunities to grow their career Degree in a Technology related discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Exposure to SAP, AWS, M365, Snowflake or CI/CD Pipelines, etc would be useful You like to see how things work end to end and are excited about reducing the effort for our customers You realise production support work is a great insight what needs to be fixed in the next release (automation / improve the code etc) CI/CD with tools such as Github interest you Data and techniques to automate repeatable finance processes interest you You have good verbal skills for stand ups and want to share your opinions in retros You think that your work is awesome, so you gladly show your work off in showcases You ask for help and want to learn from others Most Frequent Contacts Your squad is made up of Product Owner Business Analyst Application & Data Engineers Cloud Engineers You often liaise with Business operations and customer stakeholders Solution architecture and designers Engineering Leaders This role also interacts regularly with external stakeholders including: Product and service vendors At Helia, we are building a team focused on opportunities: creating brighter futures for our people.
