Game On As a HammondCare volunteer, you'll be helping residents enjoy a variety of games – Dominoes, Chess, Chinese Checkers, Scrabble, card games, and more! Come along and prepare to be challenged, laugh a lot, and make new friends while volunteering your time at HammondCare Scone. You'll be helping to reduce social isolation and bring fun and joy to our amazing residents! Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community. Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
