Work close to home in Wantirna - 25 hours per week Great culture with fun, friendly team and supportive environment Excellent Not for Profit Salary Packaging Benefits About the role: As the Store Manager for a VMCH Opportunity Shop, your role will be to manage the day to day operations, support and supervise the store volunteer team, seek opportunities for sales growth, build relationships within the local community and ensure the shop is financially viable. Promote and support a culture that is positive, safe and respectful for all volunteers, staff and customers Ensure customer service standards are maintained at the highest standard Take a proactive approach to increasing and maintaining volunteer rosters to ensure coverage for shop opening hours Maintain store presentation, including creating appealing visual merchandise environment, back room order and cleanliness Skills & experience Sound knowledge and experience working in retail management with proven success in achieving sales and managing budgets Experience in managing volunteers and people, including recruiting, inducting and training Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to, communicate and build relationships with a diverse group people Well-developed computer skills including MS Outlook, Excel and Word Flexibility in availability to assist at different VMCH opportunity shop locations as required Current driver’s license Benefits As an employee of VMCH you will be provided with ongoing personal and professional development, career pathways opportunities, a positive and supportive workplace culture and excellent salary packaging benefits.
