Our client is one of Queensland's leading corporate practices and is a specialist corporate, property and commercial disputes law firm. With a growing headcount of highly accomplished lawyers with outstanding academic achievements and a history of working exclusively for leading national and international law firms throughout their legal careers, we are currently seeking to source additional lawyers with experience in Commercial Litigation / Disputes Resolution. Of particular interest are Australian qualified lawyers wishing to return from working within a law firm overseas, or similarly applicants residing interstate with quality experience in this area who are wishing to relocate to Brisbane.
Whilst you will possess broad experience in litigation, you will ideally have experience focusing on corporate disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy matters and have exposure acting for banks, corporates, shareholders, directors and insolvency practitioners. To be eligible for consideration for this role you must also possess the following: Qualifications in Law and admission as a solicitor (or eligibility for immediate admission) within an Australian jurisdiction; Between 2 - 7 years' PAE as a solicitor or lawyer in the specialist area of commercial litigation; Excellent legal academics; An ambitious, driven, pro-active and hardworking attitude; and An ability to work independently and autonomously with minimal supervision.
