Patient Bookings Assistant
Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) is proudly part of Imaging Queensland's award-winning network of practices and the Integral Diagnostics one of the largest national radiology providers. SCR is seeking a casual Patient Bookings Assistant for our radiology bookings call hub located in Maroochydore. As the voice of the organisation, you will often be the first point of contact for many patients and referrals in this fast paced role as you book in procedures and appointment for any of our practices and provide exceptional customer service.
This role will allow you to leverage your strong experience in bookings within a call centre environment to directly support the delivery of patient bookings at time them calling as well as responding to app bookings, online and email queries, fax referrals and voicemail replies. Your key responsibilities will be: Schedule specialised bookings within a call centre environment for all X-ray, Ultrasound and radiology services Book appointments and update patient details Radiology Information System (Karisma) Answer calls regarding bookings and general enquiries while taking and relaying messages as required Action incoming email traffic from referrers/patients requesting bookings or general enquiries Using knowledge of the examination preparation and procedures to give clear and accurate instructions to patients with confidence and no supervision Make outbound calls to confirm upcoming appointments with patients Liaising with referrers, doctors, patients for delivery of patient medical results Maintain patient records, examination statistics and related information as required To be considered, you will need to have:a high level of communication and patient care skills - welcoming and friendly experience a fast-paced high-volume call environment Accurate data entry and an attention to detail Integrity, respect and professionalism Background ideally in Radiology, Medical or associated Health care industry or Call centre A "can do" attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff and professional easily Experience with booking programs - medical programs ideally You will enjoy: Being part of a health provider that cares for our employees and values their contribution to our practices Growing your knowledge and skills Latest technologies and innovative culture Regular social activities and employee awards Supportive approachable managers Strong team environment - we don't miss an opportunity to eat cake Modern centrally located practices with car parking Uniforms provided This is Casual position with hours working approximately 7.5 hrs.
